Vivek Ramaswami issued a stern rebuke of the Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg engaged in a political prosecution of a political candidate, calling it a “dark day in America.” He also called on who he characterized as “GOP donor class favorites Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley” to join him in his condemnation.
.
Candidate Nikki Haley characterized the possible action as being a “political prosecution” that is “more about revenge than it is about justice.” She thinks the “country would be better off talking about things the American public cares about.”

.
Aaron Day issued several Tweets on the topic, pretty much encouraging supporters to stay focused on the current banking crisis and to take action on that. He further urged people to steer clear of any protests:

.
The bottom line is that we will all have to wait and see what happens today. The country is entering unprecedented times in which nothing like this has happened throughout our history, so there is no clear indication of what the possible fallout might be.
