The Belknap County Republican Committee (BCRC) has sent out notice of its next monthly meeting on March 8th and will be featuring a very special guest: Republican Governor Chris Sununu.

The Granite State’s highest Republican officeholder is expected to speak about his efforts to work with the GOP in promoting Small and Efficient Government, Low Taxes, and Local Control, all brought about by a citizenship engaged in the practice of Individual Freedom and Responsibility.
BCRC Chair Gregg Hough has stated that the Committee
“is very excited and honored to welcome Governor Sununu to Belknap County. As the most Republican County in the state, we look forward to working with him to build on our success as we move towards the next election cycle. Electing Republicans to serve is the key to preserving the New Hampshire Advantage that benefits all of our citizens.”
The evening is further being billed, in addition to regular BCRC business, as one that will allow for some relaxed mingling and socializing.
The meeting is being held at the Side Car Sports Bar at the Tower Hill Tavern in Weirs Beach, Laconia and starts at 6:00 PM. The Governor is expected to speak somewhere around 6:30. It will be open to members and area Republicans, like-minded Independents, and other approved guests. All those attending will be asked to sign in at the door. As of this writing, it is unclear whether any media will be granted entry but the Bastion will update this story as more information becomes available.
An RSVP is being requested. You can do so by sending an email to : belknapgop.gmail.com@hubspotstarter.net
